Scientific Aim

BIONCARD investigates cardiovascular and vascular effects induced by anti-VEGF and VEGFR/TKI therapies in a tumour-agnostic oncology cohort.

The project aims to identify more sensitive surrogate biomarkers of treatment activity and toxicity before overt cardiovascular complications appear.

The modelling component links non-invasive measurements, imaging features, systemic microvascular parameters, tumour response, and treatment management decisions.
